I am 18 years of age and have been having these dreams since the time I was four or five. In the dreams I have complete and total control over the weather and the ability to fly. Usually in the dream I am flying and just amusing myself with my new found abilities, but as of late the dreams usually turn into me committing crimes with my abilities or helping people, you know, whatever happens to float my boat at the time. The dreams themselves are not troublesome to me at all, when I'm dreaming and have my abilities the feeling is unbridled joy, almost ecstasy. I was just wondering what they could mean since I have been having them for at least the past 13 years while the content of the dream remains more or less the same. And before someone asks, yes I do enjoy Marvel Comics and Storm is my favorite character, but I had been having these dreams before I knew of the comics. The only reason Storm is my favorite is because she has the same powers I had always dreamed of. Please serious answers only, I don't need to hear "Don't worry about it, its only a dream" or some extremely basic interpretation I could have made on my own. My personality type is INTP in the MBTI type indicator if that helps. I tend to be anti-authoritative, I'm much more of a hedonist than a masochist, though I'm not on the extreme side of the spectrum. Like I said before, the dreams bring a sense of joy to me, and whenever I wake from those dreams I'm in a better mood, though if not just a tad somber from losing my abilities to reality yet again.
